It is becoming a trend recently for artist to release a new album without warning. Beyonce has done it. Drake has done it. And now... Tyga has done it after he premiered The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty exclusive to the music streaming service Spotify.
He said of the surprise release: "I wanted to do something different which is why I partnered with Spotify for the launch. People can listen to it as much as they want and if they want to buy it after - cool. If not, that's cool too."
The album features guest verses from Lil Wayne, Boosie Badazz and Oakland rapper A.E.
