Tracy Morgan has been released from the rehabilitation center where he has been recovering since June 20. The comedian will continue to recover from the car crash that killed one of his friends at home with the help of an “aggressive outpatient program.”
His rep released the following statement confirming his release and explaining the lawsuit he just filed against Walmart for the crash.
“Tracy has been released from the rehabilitation center and will continue his recovery efforts at home with an aggressive outpatient program. He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point. He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery. In regards to the reports of a lawsuit, I can confirm that Tracy, along with the other victims of this horrific accident, have filed suit.”
He and the other victims of the accident that occurred on the New Jersey turnpike have filed suit against Wal-Mart for the horrific crash. Tracy and the other plaintiffs believe the company should have known that their driver would be too fatigued to drive safely.
