Taylor Swift is lending her voice to "The Voice." The pop star has been added to the cast of NBCs singing competition.
The network says Swift will be the "key adviser" for the shows current season during the Knockout Round, which puts singers on the same team up against each other. Shes expected to mentor the "Voice" hopefuls on vocal technique and stage presence.
Swift will make her first appearance in her role as "key adviser" on October 27th. Thats also the same day her new album 1989 is scheduled to be released. Taylor takes over from Coldplays Chris Martin, who served as "The Voices" "key adviser" last season. She joins a star-studded cast that now also includes new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. "The Voice" airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC.
