Sir Mix-A-Lot is facing legal action over his 20 year old hit "Baby Got Back" thanks to the song's sample that's featured on Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda."
According to court documents a DJ named David Ford is suing Mix-A-Lot, claiming he helped create the beat and provided the turntable "scratching" for "Baby Got Back."
Apparently, he had no idea Sir Mix-A-Lot failed to give him producing credits until he heard the song's inclusion on Nicki's "Anaconda." It was then that Ford investigated and found that Sir Mix-A-Lot had registered a copyright listing himself as the sole creator of the song.
