Shakira is expecting her second child with soccer star Gerard Pique, she tells the Spanish version of Comsopolitan.
The couple, who met during Shakira’s promotion of the 2010 World Cup single “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa),” is already parents to 18-month-old son Milan, who was born in January 2013. Gerard, 27, and Milan both appeared in the music video for Shakira’s “La La La (Brazil 2014).”
The former The Voice judge explained how her successful musical career is holding her back from having a big family. “If it weren’t because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already,” she said. “I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — my own futbol team.”
