At long last, Rixton ave finally dropped their debut studio album, Let the Road.

But fans are not the only ones who have been patiently waiting. The band spent the better part of the past six years writing, recording, and putting the finishing touches on the 10-song collection, which includes their 2014 hits "Me and My Broken Heart" and "Wait on Me," as well as the Ed Sheeran-penned "Hotel Ceiling."

The album means a lot to us just because it's been a long process," singer Jake Roche says. "It's been about six years since we first started thinking about it. From there, it's just developed. We recorded it in New York, which now has become a very special place for us. It does mean a lot to us because it's some of our life experiences and we just can't wait for people to hear it."
