It has been a year now since Rita Ora and Calvin Harris have broken up. Well now it sounds like things are still a bit awkward between the two former flames.
In a new interview Rita Ora sounded rather content about the reasoning for why she split from the EDM heavyweight, who is currently dating Taylor Swift. "There was a reason why I split up with him," she confessed. "And there was a reason why I'm at this point in my life where I feel like I have so much musical freedom, and I don't have to explain myself to anybody."
Despite feeling like Harris was a man who could do no wrong during their time together, Ora admitted that things "started to go a bit weird" after she released their collaboration "I Will Never Let You Down" post-relationship. "I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what," she added.That weirdness that Ora described is probably the instance when Harris reportedly banned the singer from performing the number right before the ceremony, nixing her from the performance bill at the Teen Choice Awards in 2014.
