The Los Angeles Police Department is benefiting greatly from a moment of clumsiness by singer Rihanna.
The pop star agreed to pose for a selfie with L.A. Police Commission president Steve Soboroff last week at a Los Angeles Clippers playoff game. However, Rihanna dropped Soboroff’s iPhone, cracking the screen.
The singer autographed the back of the phone, and Soboroff put it up for auction on eBay. The auction closed with a high bid of $66,500 dollars, which will go to two charities connected to the police department.
