The nominees for the annual MTV Movie Awards were announced early Wednesday morning.

Gilded popcorn trophies will be handed out in 14 categories, including Best Comedic Performance, Best Fight, Best Kiss, and Best Scared-as-Sh-t Performance.

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards will broadcast from Los Angeles on April 12.

Lady Gaga is passing along some life advice to Taylor Swift. Taylor took to Twitter to congratulate the Mother Monster on her recent engagement and Oscar performance, making the observation "Is it just me or is Lady Gaga, like, fully LIVING right now?!"

Gaga replied, calling her "a sweetheart" and giving her some words of wisdom, telling her that life is all about "friends, family and love."  She adds, "We all see that in you, your prince charming will come!"
