One Direction sat down with Carson Daly on the Today show Tuesday and teased their follow-up album to the successful Midnight Memories. The pop rockers revealed to The Voice host that their upcoming fourth studio album, which is currently untitled, will show a slight departure from their preceding records.
“I think it’s going to be a little bit more edgy, but obviously we feel like we’ve got some really good songs and we are happy,” Niall Horan said, while Liam Payne added, “We’ve all taken a hand in the writing this time and we’ve literally written almost every song.”
