One Direction is heading back to the big screen. The boy band used a YouTube video to announce a new concert movie directly to fans on Monday.
The “Where We Are” movie will be in theaters for only two days in October. The dates are timed to arrive just a week after the “Where We Are” tour wraps up its North American leg.
The concert movie will then be released on DVD on December 1st. It will arrive about a year after the group’s last big screen effort, the concert documentary following their first-ever world tour “This Is Us.” That movie topped the box office on its opening weekend last August, earning 17 million dollars.
