For the rapper’s new music video “Anaconda,” which features a heavy sampling of Sir Mix-A-Lot‘s classic “Baby Got Back,” has racked up 19.6 million VEVO views in just 24 hours. She blasts past the former record holder, Miley Cyrus—who set the bar rather high with “Wrecking Ball.” The searing ballad landed with 19.3 million views on the popular streaming site upon its release last summer.
The previous VEVO record was held by One Direction with “Best Song Ever,” which racked up 12.3 million eyes in July 2013.
Of course, what we’ve all been wanting to know is…what does Sir Mix-A-Lot think of “Anaconda”? Well, the rapper recently shared his thoughts on the booty-ful topic.
