MTV announced plans to switch coasts for this years Video Music Awards, following last years ceremony in Brooklyn, New York. The 2014 event will take place on August 24th at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
Last years VMAs kept plenty of tongues wagging after Miley Cyrus sexually explicit stage antics with Robin Thicke. MTV just wrapped up its annual Movie Awards ceremony at L.A.s Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on April 13th.
Nominations for the show will most likely be announced in July with the show kicking off in August or September.
