Macklemore is in mourning this week after learning he's just lost a good friend -- the Capitol Hill Value Village thrift shop that inspired his breakthrough hit.
Mack, who filmed a good chunk of the "Thrift Shop" video at the Seattle store, tweeted the news with a simple statement that read, "Aw, hell no."
The Value Village had occupied the landmarked building since 1996, but was forced out by rising rents in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. It will shutter this month. What is he going to do with the $20 in his pocket now?!
