Lil Wayne's new album "The Carter V" was expected to be released this week, but it remains unreleased, and the singer himself is giving us some insight on why.
Wayne took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to express his discontent with record label Cash Money Records for not releasing it on time saying that he feels "like a prisoner" and wants "off this label".
The new album originally was going to be out in May, but he then announced that it would be released in two different parts with this first part dropping on December 9th. It now looks like we will have to wait until next year to hear new music from Weezy.
