Lamar Odom is going to have to stick to the straight and narrow for quite some time after being arrested by the California Highway Patrol for a DUI in August.
The basketballer, 34, who is not currently affiliated with any NBA team, reached a plea deal in the case Monday. In the agreement, Odom was sentenced to 36 months of probation and promised to attend a three-month alcohol rehabilitation program and pay $1,814 in fines.
Odom was not required to attend the ruling and was instead represented by his lawyer who plead no contest on the athlete’s behalf in Superior Court in Van Nuys, California, on Monday.
