Pebe Sebert - the mother of pop singer Ke$ha - has checked herself into rehab.
Sebert has released a statement saying that she’s decided to join her daughter at the Timberline Knolls rehab facility near Chicago. The 57-year-old, who has been open about her past addiction battle, adds that she’s seeking help for “Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder” “at Ke$ha’s urging.”
Sebert caused a media stir last week when she publicly accused Ke$ha’s producer Dr. Luke of putting pressure on her to lose weight, leading to her eating disorder. The producer immediately denied her account, releasing a statement calling it “unfortunate” that Kesha’s mother is “taking this approach with the media.”
