Jennifer Lopez will host the 2015 American Music Awards, it was announced on Wednesday. This will mark Lopez’s first time ever hosting an awards show. And she’ll be pulling double duty. In addition to hosting, the superstar will also be one of the performers.
Lopez’s performance will serve as a teaser for her upcoming Las Vegas residency, “All I Have,” which begins in January. “JLo is one of the most influential artists in music history, and the triple-threat will take on the role as host of a live broadcast award show,” say ABC and Dick Clark Productions in a joint release.
The last two years of the show have been hosted by Pitbull.
