Jennifer Lopez is revealing more details about her forthcoming eighth studio album. The star previewed six of its tracks during an intimate gathering in Malibu on Friday.
Among them is a Max Martin-produced song called “First Love,” which is set to serve as her next single when it arrives in May. Jennifer says she had “always” wanted to work with hit-maker Martin and “sought him out” for song.
The singer also revealed that at least two of the songs on the album were written by Chris Brown. He penned a ballad called “Emotions,” as well as a dance track called “Big Booty,” which will feature J. Lo’s frequent collaborator Pitbull.
Jennifer says she went into recording her new album after she “realized [she] was stronger that [she] thought,” entering the studio on the heels of her divorce from Marc Anthony and touring around the world with her young twins.
