Beyonce and Jay Z are partnering up with HBO. The network has announced that it will be airing a concert special featuring the super couples “On The Run” co-headlining tour.
The network says it will be taping the upcoming back-to-back September dates in Paris — so far, the only international dates scheduled. An air date for the special has yet to be announced. President Michael Lombardo says in a statement that the “major musical event” belongs exclusively to HBO and that “its going to be a night to remember.”
The network is currently airing a weekly series featuring four-minute segments from Beyonce’s “Mrs. Carter Show” tour. It was also the home of her “Life Is But A Dream” documentary and Jay’s “Picasso Baby” film.
