It's time to rejoice, Coldplay fans! On Friday November 6th the British band announced that their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, will drop on December 4. Oh, and did we mention that it boasts an array of high-profile collaborations from Beyoncé, Tove Lo, Noel Gallagher and Merry Clayton?
The announcement also came with the unveil of the set's lead single "Adventure of a Lifetime," which is currently available for streaming and download. No word on which tracks each of the acts tackled, but you can bet that the collection will be full of a similar kind of energy you can hear on the first single, according to the band's press release.
In a statement for the LP, A Head Full of Dreams is described as a collection "that’s bursting with energy, colour and big, life-affirming moments." "Coldplay has never enjoyed making a record more than this one. Nor have they been happier with the results," the statement read.
