Chris Brown will remain in anger management treatment, despite calls from prosecutors that he be jailed for a probation violation. The Los Angeles District Attorney argued on Monday that the singers arrest for assault in Washington D.C. last October shows a pattern of increasing violence.
Prosecutors believe Brown is “an increasing danger to society,” but a judge sided with the singers attorney, Mark Geragos, and allowed him to stay in rehab. Brown was ordered to spend 90 days in a residential treatment facility back in November.
While at the center, Brown has been subjected to several drug tests, all of which hes passed. Last month, Chris Brown rejected a plea deal in his D.C. assault case. He and his bodyguard are accused of striking a man outside of a hotel in the nations capital. That trial will continue on February 20th.
