Britney Spears remains close with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake — his music, that is. In a recent interview the singer reveals that Timberlake is one of the artists from whom she draws inspiration.
“This generation is hungry for new sounds. Bruno Mars is so different and fresh, and Justin Timberlake is, too,” Spears tells the paper. She continues, “It’s inspiring for me, and it makes people eager to listen to music, which helps everyone.”
Spears also gave props to Beyoncé, calling the superstar’s surprise album “genius, really brilliant,” and expressed approval of Miley Cyrus, who had a very good time at Spears’ Las Vegas residency kick-off.
