Alongside a picture of her in uniform, he said she served as a captain in World War Two, making her one of the first black women to earn that rank.
Apart from her professional accomplishments, Sean also reflected on how she "put her heart and more into everything she was involved in." He also credited her with making life better for both him and his family.
