Ariana Grande is sending a message to some of her critics. In a long message posted to her social media on Sunday, the pop star addressed a recent interview, in which she had said that she didn't like being called rapper Big Sean's ex-girlfriend -- or anyone's ex-girlfriend for that matter.
Ariana says that she's doesn't "belong to anyone but [herself] and that women shouldn't be referred to as "a man's past, present or future property or possession."
The singer says that she wants the focus to be on her music and her fans, adding that she felt the need to "speak up" because she comes from a "long bloodline of female activists."
