Adele’s one-year-old son Angelo James Konecki just won five figures in damages from Corbis Images UK after the paparazzi agency photographed private moments of the singer and her toddler.
The Grammy-winners lawyer said after the ruling, It is a matter of profound sadness that many of his milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family’s wishes. Adele’s attorney added the singer had made it clear since the boys birth that she never wanted Angelo to be public property.
In addition to the five-figure sum, as part of the settlement, Corbis Images UK agreed to never sell the photos again. The money will be held in a trust for Angelo, who turns two in October.
