The launch of The Feed Entertainment was definitely more complicated than I had ever imagined. Between the website, video equipment, and editing software I have had some serious issues.
- So I use a website hosting company called Yola. Recent changes to their website software have made it more difficult to maintain the site. I am trying to get used to the changes, but it is not really easy. Also I still have a lot of additions to make. As you may have noticed some pages are still incomplete or have lots of glitches.
- So my camera isn't working right anymore. I have had it since June 2010, so it doesn't really surprise me. It won't import to my computer anymore and the picture is getting worse especially in low light areas. I really need to get a new one. Also I am using green cardboard as a green screen and I am not satisfied with it. I need a green screen because I don't always film video at the same location. I travel a lot and I want everything to look the same. I also want to be able to buy one of those.
- I use iMovie to edit videos. It does a pretty good job, but it doesn't give my videos that professional factor. I can't do much to make the video stand out. Also for some reason for the past few months it has crashed and glitched up a lot. I don't know what to do about this considering editing software is super expensive.
So this explains why videos haven't been coming out like promised. It has been a very hard few weeks with me when coming to technical crap. Please bare with me and hopefully I will have a schedule going up soon online.
